1,000,000,000,000
Is this number blowing your mind?
Remember when a billion dollars used to be a lot? Now, we’re talk trillions – that’s a thousand times more!
Here’s some perspective. Can you guess how many days it takes for a trillion seconds to pass? Let’s do the math. Hint: Each 24-hour day is 86,400 seconds.
- A million seconds is about 11 and a half days
- A billion seconds is just over 31 years
- A trillion seconds is over 31 thousand years. If you can believe it, a trillion seconds ago, the Neanderthal stalked the plains of Europe!
So shall we continue just a little further?
Student debt surpassed this massive number in 2012. All told, there’s a whopping $1.5 trillion in student loans out there! Right now, frankly, Americans owe more on their student loans than their credit cards or car loans. And, the number keeps growing.
It’s changing the culture of America! Good investment or not, student loan debt is creating ripples later in life – some much later. We can’t ignore the long-term effects it’s having on people’s ability to build wealth. Retirement? Keep dreaming. Even Baby Boomers are still paying off their student loans. I’m betting I’m not alone in feeling something is very wrong with this picture.
The good news? It doesn’t have to be this way – there is a way out.
Think about this for a moment. What if you could recapture all the interest you are currently paying and keep Uncle Sam out of your pocket in retirement? The average American spends 34.5% of their income on interest alone! How would your life change if you just got a 34% raise?
Einstein famously stated, “Those who understand interest earn it, those who don’t, pay it.” Crush your student debt, and your cash flow will skyrocket! Who doesn’t dream about paying off their student loans and freeing up all that monthly cash?

Our Student Debt Story: Here’s how we were able to lessen the crushing weight of one student’s debt.
Ryan is a 34-year-old non-traditional student who returned to college to obtain a master’s degree. Simply, in his chosen career field, the benefit of earning a master’s degree meant higher pay and career growth opportunity. He did everything right. Now, with approximately $50K in student loans, we estimate he’ll have to pay over $110K in interest, taking him over 35 years to pay off his student loans.
With our plan, using a product available for the last 100+ years from a company who has been selling it for 100+ years, Ryan will be debt free in 3.9 years! And, instead of paying $110K in interest, the new plan will save him more than $61K in in interest! Quite a start for a solid retirement!
